What a lovely homestead Restaurant. Set in a country style backdrop. The food was to die for and they gave such personal service. It was like you were the only customers there. If you are looking for a romantic restaurant, this is it. Two thumbs up.
Why have we not been here sooner? This place ranks in my top five eats in the greater Brisbane area. The food was delicious, fresh and arrived in good sized portions. Excellent value for money and the service was prompt and courteous. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended. 5 *****
We recently enjoyed a family get-together at Jimboomba House, a rare occasion for parents, kids and partners to all gather. Although having visited Jimboomba House on multiple occasions, this was the first in quite some time and, I'm happy to say, our favourite. Without going into great detail, the service, meals, drinks, and desserts were all wonderful. All selections were expertly prepared and flavoursome, and serving sizes were ample. The premises is always inviting and warm, so it was pleasing that all other aspects were as positive. When there's 8 people sitting at a table and the biggest area of concern is the consistency of the nevertheless much enjoyed Creme Brulee, then you know that, as a business, you've succeeded. Jimboomba House has been a mainstay in the local dining scene for many years and remains a strong and stable contributor, to this very day. I look forward to our next visit and wish them ongoing success.
Simply Stunning! Food, Service, staff & setting were all perfect. The seafood was beyond incredible. Couple this with outstanding service, flawless cocktails, amazing deserts & a wonderful warm, inviting setting & you have one outstanding venue. Going to be very hard to top this one.
An exceptional experience from the moment we drove through the property to the restaurant. We were looked after by a remarkable man who was a professional - not once interrupting our conversations nor overbearing in asking for our drinks and food selections; especially when it came to dessert. The food was fantastic, my beef cheeks were so tender and flavourful as was the pork belly dishes. The mud cake was a true work of art - warm and delicious. Highly recommended!
Wow and just wow. What a lovely local restaurant no pretentious even though the food served is amazing. We have been twice and just love this local, the cocktails are fabulous and the food is just lovely. We love the laid back feel and you don’t need to over dress and you are welcomed from start to finish. Seriously if you are looking for a fine dining (but not advertised as such) you are not letting yourself down. Amazing and will be back very soon.
I took a special friend here for dinner and I cannot speak highly enough about the place. The food, the atmosphere, the service and the the special lady were all 10/10. Then we discovered the lemon cheesecake...OMG!!!!!!. Will be back for sure ( especially for the cheesecake). Loved it.
Every single meal (entree, mains and deserts) made it very clear that someone in the kitchen preparing meals totally loves food by going above and beyond, I’ve been their four times and my wife seven and we have loved everything every time. Keep your love of food ♥️
Have been here 3 times now & every single time I have had fantastic service, delicious food & amazing cocktails! Only teeny tiny negative is there is no ramp for pram access but the food and everything else matters more! The kids loved going out the back & collecting golf balls & watching the kangaroos grazing while the sun went down. Fantastic little restaurant
My fiancé & I had a lovely dinner at Jimboomba House on Saturday night. We’ve lived 10 minutes away for almost 2 years & had no idea it existed. The food was amazing, staff were lovely & atmosphere was welcoming & warm. We shared the seafood chowder which was UNREAL, my fiancé had the duck & I had the beef cheeks, both were delicious! Will definitely be back!
